don't ever want

to stop thinking about

you

and what you mean to me

what you mean to my everything

and i can't even

when i wake up there you are

when i lay down, there you are

when i sit down

there you are

when i hide in the dark

from my own traitor thoughts

there you are

there - in my heart

you - stay in my heart

are - my every other thought

and i can't even

imagine it being any

other way

i know it was

before? right?

there was before

right, i know it

but when i think it

there you are

when i need

you provide

just with the thought

of you

how did i even

before all of this

i can't remember

and i don't want

to ever change it

thank you

for being

my everything

is this too much?

It’s the most unnatural

And frustrating thing

In the world, being

Away from you.

You’re mine, and I

Belong to you.

That’s as natural

As water flowing

But

Sometimes, things

Seem to be beyond

That natural order

Of gravity

Pulling us to the ground.

Being away from you

Is torture

And makes me ache

In ways I can’t describe.

You

Make me whole.

When I cry, it’s

Because you’re not here.

Distance is a bitch, baby,

And I can’t wait to bridge that

Horrible gap

Touch you

And show you how I truly

Feel, like you’ll

Do for me.

Being away from you is

As unnatural as steel,

As cake,

As--as all those good things

Those necessary things

But the ache doesn’t go away until I

Hear from you again.

I fret, become afraid, when

You’re gone, but not for the

Usual jealous reasons.

You’re precious to me,

Mi tesero, and

The only thing I fear

Is losing you to the

Vagaries and inevitabilities

Of life.

I’m not a jealous person

And I don’t believe in control

(Beyond what you give me--)

But there are things beyond both of us

That terrify and astound.

Please never leave me

And I’ll try my hardest

To grant you

The same favor.
